In the middle of Pettneu, the cosy holiday home "Hoamatl" rises in a sunny, quiet spot with a picturesque view of the Hohe Riffler glacier to the south and the modern community centre to the north. This historic jewel from 1579 is available for rent as an entire property. It is one of the first houses on the Arlberg and promises a breathtaking retreat. Here, traditional Tyrolean craftsmanship, elegance and relaxation blend together to guarantee you an unforgettable stay.
Description
Spread over three floors and around 280 square metres of living space, the house easily accommodates 10 adults or eight adults and four children. Thanks to the wood stoves, supported by electric radiators in all rooms, a cosy warmth spreads. Firewood from the neighbouring forests is at your disposal.
The ground floor welcomes you with a spacious room for ski and bicycle equipment incl. boot dryer. A fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and the adjoining parlour offers enough space for communal meals. A bedroom, a guest toilet and a separate bathroom round off the ground floor.
On the 1st floor you will find three cosy bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The adjoining living room, decorated with historic panelling from the 1930s, invites you to linger. The top floor houses two more bedrooms and a panoramic sauna, which offers a unique view of the high Riffler.

WINTER
The ski slopes of St. Anton am Arlberg can be reached in just a few minutes with the free ski buses (which stop right outside the front door). But Pettneu also invites you to sporting activities. The offer includes the cross-country ski runs along the Rosanna, in Reit and in the Pofel. Every Monday and Friday, the village also offers night cross-country skiing. From dusk until 10 pm, guests can do their laps under floodlights. The sunny side of Pettneu also invites you to go on long winter hikes and tobogganing.
SUMMER
The village of Pettneu am Arlberg not only offers easy access to the extensive hiking and (e-)mountain biking area of St. Anton am Arlberg, but also invites you to extensive tours to the Malfontal and the Hoher Riffler (3,186 metres). Hiking tours to the Nessler Alm are also scenic. Here the Alte Nessler Thaja takes you back in time.
It offers an insight into daily life on a Stanzertal alpine pasture as it was 40 years ago and earlier.
